In deploying the biggest product launch in one client’s recent history, Mary skillfully aligns the twin goals of business and creative excellence. As a G&S team leader, Mary advises clients on strategy development and oversees the implementation of integrated communications programs that leverage the broad array of expertise and techniques that G&S offers. Mary has made significant contributions to the expansion of the agency’s base of agribusiness work since joining in 2002. She is among the firm’s senior technical experts in agricultural communications and trade media relations, and her counsel is valued by clients, teammates and the media. Mary earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in public relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was honored by the National Agri-Marketing Association with its 2015 Professional Development Award in Public Relations. Mary’s approach to competition and collaboration starts at home when she roots for UNC while her husband cheers for NC State—with their young daughter always emerging the winner in any contest for their loyalty.
