Welcome to the Global Street Fight™ – Highlights of Conference and Study
Gibbs & Soell is proud to present the latest edition in its thought-leadership program series, “Welcome to the Global Street Fight™: Are Your Ideas Disruptive Enough to Win in this Economy?”, featuring our esteemed panel of guest speakers in New York, Chicago and Raleigh. Our discussions examine the impact of the hyper-competitive marketplace on C-suites, consumers and communities that drive global business.
Our program’s premise:
There is evidence of progress on the U.S. housing and jobs fronts, but sustained economic growth still seems to be a stretch. Business competition today feels like a global street fight measured by each gain of a street corner in a turf war. Slivers of market share barely shift during hard fought contests. Yet, we are seeing corporate stories around bold, gutsy business and marketing moves happening right now. Who’s betting big? Why? And, has it paid off?

Global Street Fight™ Study
Gibbs & Soell and Harris Interactive, one of the world’s leading global research-based consultancies, teamed up to explore consumer perceptions of CEOs in this current environment. The Global Street Fight™ Study 2013 was co-developed by Steve Halsey, principal and managing director, business consulting, Gibbs & Soell, and Robert Fronk, executive vice president of reputation management, Harris Interactive. The research looks at the intersection of boldness, innovation and trust as it relates to the C-suite and the implications thereof. In addition to the recently fielded research, Fronk conducted a deeper analysis of the study findings within the context of the annual Harris Poll Reputational Quotient® Study, the preeminent study of corporate reputation.
