Executive Vice President, Paid Program Strategies
Ralph recognizes that in business, the “I” must follow “us.” With an illustrious career spanning 46 years as a creative counselor and business leader in the advertising and public relations industry, Ralph joined forces with G&S through the firm’s strategic acquisition of his agency in 2018. Ralph was the co-founder and principal of CooperKatz & Company, the award-winning independent agency he established in 1996 with long-time colleague and friend, Andy Cooper, who passed away in 2013. In his leadership role at G&S, he focuses on the development of paid program strategies. Previously, he held progressively senior positions and later led the creative group at Burson-Marsteller for nearly two decades. Earlier, he started his career at Ted Bates Advertising. Ralph holds a B.S. in psychology from Case Western Reserve University and an M.S. in television/radio from the Newhouse School of Syracuse University. Ralph’s spirit of volunteerism and adventure has taken him around the globe, including rural Honduras and Moscow on the eve of the former Soviet Union’s collapse. Although it’s hard to top a day at the ballpark rooting for his favorite New York Mets, Ralph equally enjoys the excitement of new business challenges and creative brainstorming.
