Junior Account Executive (Raleigh)

We are actively looking for Junior Account Executives to join our growing teams and to be responsible for day-to-day client account activities such as:

  • Drafting a range of written materials, including byline articles, case studies, news releases, blog posts, etc., based on direction from supervisors
  • Securing media placements and actively pitching media on client news, technologies and solutions
  • Understanding and building relationships with clients’ top-tier and niche trade media
  • Monitoring media outlets for coverage of client news and competitor developments
  • Developing content for various mediums, including digital and social media, broadcast, web, print publications and sales/marketing collateral
  • Researching industry or program-specific topics efficiently
  • Assisting with event planning for client tradeshows, media tours, special events, etc.
  • Providing regular, proactive updates to supervisors on projects, tasks and responsibilities

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Must possess a BS/BA in journalism, public relations or communications. Other related fields will be considered.
  • 1-3 years of experience in PR or Business Communications is required

Account Executive (New York)

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for day-to-day client contact and the implementation of integrated media and public relations program activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a keen understanding of distinct B2B and B2C audiences and the ability to develop appropriate digital, social and traditional business communication programs that speak to these audiences
  • Proactively generate new story ideas and opportunities that support client business objectives
  • Develop and maintain consumer and business media relationships with influential members of the press in order to ensure feature placements
  • Integrate creative, digital and other communication agency specialists to enhance story-telling
  • Develop strategy behind and represent clients and products at industry conferences and events; develop strategy and manage client-owned customer and product launch events
  • Create and develop proactive pitch ideas based on current trends and business insights

Project Managers (New York & Chicago)

We are looking for Project Managers in NYC and Chicago with experience working in an agency setting.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Overseeing and managing the workflow of communication campaigns.
  • Working with account managers to develop cost estimates for client campaigns, and completing appropriate program authorizations.
  • Defining project milestones to properly oversee creative projects as they progress.
  • Coordinating with traffic managers and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless completion of campaigns across a range of creative and digital platforms.
  • Opening new projects using project management software, acquiring needed resources.
  • Monitoring hours spent, comparing actual vs. budget, and updating managers and team members regarding budget status.
  • Creating and revising campaign schedules and production status reports to advise all teams of schedules and job status, ordering based on priority.
  • Obtaining and reviewing cost estimates from vendors when necessary.
  • Maintaining and developing strong internal and external relationships.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years creative agency traffic and/or project management experience.

Senior Social Media Specialist (Raleigh)

The Senior Social Media specialist is responsible for providing expert advice to clients and account teams regarding the planning of social media campaigns and taking a lead role in the execution of those campaigns, ensuring social media channels work seamlessly with digital and traditional campaigns following agency best practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing communication strategies and offer suggestions to best leverage social media and digital channels
  • Understanding and meeting project deadlines, coordinate and communicate with social media supervisor, project manager and other internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Collaborating with account and creative teams for program integration
  • Drafting, editing and scheduling social media content

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital and/or social media communications (agency and/or client side).
  • A solid foundation in communication and marketing fundamentals.
  • More than two years of professional experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc., as part of a communication strategy (B2B and/or B2C) Experience with social media management software preferred.
  • Familiar with creating and launching organic and paid social media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social communities, social networking, social media policy, guidelines and regulations.
