Essential Tremor affects quality of life for over 10MM Americans.
An estimated 10 million Americans experience uncontrollable shaking from a neurological condition called Essential Tremor (ET), making everyday tasks a challenge and hindering their independence. Yet few Americans are aware of ET, its symptoms and its treatment options. INSIGHTEC, a global medical device company and pioneer in incisionless surgery, offers MR-guided focused ultrasound to target deep within the brain to minimize debilitating tremors. During March, Essential Tremor Awareness Month, INSIGHTEC partnered with G&S to drive awareness, education and engagement among ET patients and caregivers, offering education on symptoms and treatment options while also generating patient leads.
SOLUTION
We helped patients Get a Grip on ET.
Developed an integrated campaign, “Get a Grip on ET,” calling attention to the symptom of uncontrollable hand-shaking – and the need for greater empathy and understanding.
Created landing pages, videos, infographics, patient testimonials and a symptom checker as resources to help visitors understand the condition and explore treatment options.
Boosted awareness and traffic to the website through paid social promotions and organic content, targeting mature adult audiences and those with an interest in health.
Skyrocketed awareness and engagement among the ET community.
Reached an overall audience of over 3.3 million, with over 60,000 website sessions, nearly 10,000 downloads of the infographics and symptom checker and over 100,000 engagements on Facebook.
Drove 187 clicks to the campaign landing page through organic social alone; boosted posts received 5,417 engagements and drove nearly 1,000 clicks to the landing page.
Generated 439 new leads for INSIGHTEC, based on requests for contact through the web form.
